WHY PROFITS ARE LEFT IN THE MONETRAN ASSET ACCOUNT
The greatest feature of the Moneda token is that it is designed to gradually increase in value over time. The slow, steady appreciation of the token is what makes it a true store of value. This is partially enabled by compound interest, which is why those profits are left in the asset account.
Initial funding for the account has come from the proceeds of a pair of crowdfunding sales. A percentage of those proceeds went directly into “seeding” the asset account. This ensures that Moneda tokens are backed by tangible assets from its inception and will ensure that Moneda has intrinsic value.
